shut down circulating pump

Post by Paty » October 21st, 2017, 2:36 pm

Hello!
Our 2004 Sundance spa shuts on and off. It seems that this happens when the 2 speed pump goes off and almost right away the circulation pump also goes off. Sometimes it will go back on by itself but most of the time we have to turn off the power (braker) wait a few seconds and on again in order for the circulating pump to start working once more. Winter is coming and we have to find a solution before it gets too cold, if we don't we will have to empty the spa for the winter :(
Thank you for you input!

When the hot tub goes "off" does the power actually shut off? Does the control panel go blank? If it does not go blank what error messages are being displayed?

Hi Amos, we've been having the same issue with our hot tub. The control panel goes completely blank. What do you suggest we do at this point?

If the display goes blank after an amount of time you are likely tripping a breaker. If the control panel is completely blank all of the time, you need to make sure you have power to the hot tub and all fuses are ok.
